Admission and Scholarship Requirements for SY 2012-2013
WHO MAY APPLY?

Anyone seeking admission to the medical school must have the following qualifications:

1. He/she must be a holder of a bachelor's degree in sciences or arts (AB/BS) conferred by a duly recognized educational institution. The degree must have been taken within a five-year period prior to the filing of application.

2. He/she must have taken the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT).
NMAT is valid for two years from the date it is taken.

HOW TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION?

1. Obtain Application Form for Admission from the XU School of Medicine Admin Office
or download the form from http://jprcm.xu.edu.ph/contacts.htm

2. Send/submit duly accomplished application for admission with the following attachments:

     2.1 Transcript of Records Photocopy. If you are not yet a graduate by the time of filing the application,
     you may submit the latest transcript or evaluation/grade sheet with subjects description, grades and
     equivalent units.
     2.2 NMAT result photocopy, if result is already available.
     2.3 1 pc 2x2 picture
     2.4 Php 200 processing fee

Admission Application Period: 1 Oct 2011 - 15 May 2012

HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP?

1. All requirements for Admission (see above)

2. Additional requirements for Scholarship applicants

     2.1 Obtain Scholarship Application Form from the XU School of Medicine Admin Office
     or download the form from http://jprcm.xu.edu.ph/contacts.htm
     2.2 Latest Income Tax Return or Tax Exemption of parents/guardian
     2.3 2pcs 1x1 picture
     2.4 Php 300 Testing Fee

Scholarship Application Period: 1 Oct 2011 - 1 Dec 2011

Scholarship Exam is on 10 Dec 2011 (Saturday) 8:00 AM
Drop by at the XU School of Medicine Admin Office (Room 309) to get admit-to-exam slip

Personal interview is required of all applicants (Admission and/or Scholarship).

Interview starts during first week of April 2012 (Admissions),
Mon-Fri 9-11 AM & 2-4 PM, Sat 9-11 AM

No need for personal interview for scholarship applicant who underwent a panel interview
